Ambassadors are the most visible Chamber volunteers in the community. The Ambassadors promote networking and teamwork by greeting guests at Chamber events and by attending grand openings and ribbon cutting ceremonies. Other responsibilities include welcoming new businesses in the community and encouraging membership involvement in the Chamber.

Ambassador Mission:

To encourage interaction and involvement of all Chamber members with special attention given to the welcoming of new members; to act as a public relations representative at Chamber functions.

Goals & Objectives:

1. Support the Chamber's staff at all Chamber events
2. New Membership Relations
3. Recruit new Chamber members.
4. Contact assigned members to encourage member involvement and update membership records.
5. Promote the C.A.R.E. Award.
6. Attend monthly Ambassador meetings

Benefits of being an Ambassador

1. Visibility, exposure and business development opportunities are the primary reasons that many individuals and companies choose to participate as an Ambassador. Personal development and growth opportunities are also a benefit that many are finding to be available through active involvement.
2. Ambassadors are individuals that most members will sooner or later get to know. They are regularly pictured in the Chamber's Newsletter and are recognized at every Chamber event and function.
3. Each year an "AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR" is selected and recognized with an award at the Annual Installation and Awards Banquet

Ambassador Criteria

1. Membership in the Chamber must remain current and in good standing.
2. Ambassadors must attend monthly Ambassador meetings on a regular basis. Consistently missed meetings will cause your Ambassador membership to be reviewed.
3. Wear your Ambassador name badge at all Chamber functions. The Chamber provides name badges after a minimum of three months of consistent Ambassador meetings and event attendance.
4. Assist in delivering Membership Plaques and Welcome Packets to new members as needed.
5. Perform at least one Ambassador duty monthly at Chamber functions.
6. Attend Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings when schedule permits.
7. Recruit new Ambassador Members.
