Another Year Passes
My wife and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary this week. To some of you, this might not seem like a significant accomplishment – I know many of you who have been married for 50 years or more – but it means a great deal to us. A few things you should know, this is the second marriage for us both and we brought some kids along to the party. What I’ve learned from this wonderful mess of a family is that each year we don’t just celebrate the passing of time, but the joining of our new – and very unique – family. When we married, the best gift I received was two sons and Liz got my Meagan. The years haven’t always been easy, but they’ve been perfect. I hope you all are as blessed as I’ve been.
Enough about me, let’s talk about me…just kidding, let’s talk about the Chamber. Every organization needs a tune-up, just like a car. This week we’ve had Jay Handler from Membership180 here with us giving us some feedback and insight on how we can tune-up the Chamber. It’s been exciting to have him here and I can’t wait to implement new ideas to make YOUR Chamber even stronger.
I hope you have a great weekend – please note that I’ll be off next week, spending time with my family and extended family.
